Art Therapy Retreat Day gives you the opportunity to explore more of who you are.

Art Therapy Retreat Day: Spirited Women offer one-day retreats throughout the year. Each retreat explores a different theme relevant to women today and has nothing to do with being an artist.

Art making is an invitation to use raw materials to shape, reshape, colour, experiment, add or remove so you can express what is within you.

As women we are constantly shaping and reshaping our lives. For a woman life is about living through change and challenges.

Their Art Therapy Retreat Day are beautifully held with clear boundaries and intentions where each participant feels valued and heard.

Art is not about the finished product and it’s aesthetic. It’s about the process that allows you to work creatively with life, giving you the freedom to uncover what words sometimes cannot say.

Through their years of experience as art therapist, Amelia and Carla value how art holds insightful messages and is a path to change and healing.

“Art making as a practice stops time, opens us to rest our thinking mind and nourishes our senses.” Pat B. Allen, 2005

Art making for wellbeing invites you to
re-imagine, re-create and re-connect

•  Express what is stirring within
•  Creates a pathway when you can no longer THINK your way to a solution
•  Express your story in another way
•  Releases frustrations and uncertainties
•  Draws on intuition to venture into unknown possibilities
•  Reduces stress and depression
•  Opens up a different way of knowing
•  Gives form to what words cannot say
•  Offers surprise, fun and insight

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE ART THERAPY RETREAT DAY REQUIRES NO ART EXPERIENCE JUST YOUR SPIRIT OF CURIOSITY

“I didn’t know art making could be so powerful. As someone who hasn’t made art since primary school I  felt relaxed and so surprised at the ease, depth and insight I gained.” Sarah M
